Hey guys,

So this a trailer for my short film "InBloom" that i wrote and directed and partly shot. Well basically all the shots were my setups, plus my camera and lenses, but i had another student operate the camera in the bulk of the shots so i could direct. Keep in mind im only 17, and a junior at interlochen arts school, and ya this is my second ever short film I've made. And also the 35mm adapter is my home-made one. with minolta md/mc lenses.

Anyway heres a synopsis:

Mark, a troubled young adult battles with an extreme condition of OCD. He has placed himself in an isolated house deep in the woods in order to cope with the laws set by his disorder, and to also protect him from his fear of the corrupted modern world.

But Mark recently realized he has confined himself in his house, and his isolation is corrupting his life. So he finds means of escape through a girl that walks by his house everyday, but he needs to wait for the full blossoming of three roses to determine the day he is ready to talk to her.

But when Mark's calculations set by his OCD fail him, he is confronted with the biggest decision of his life.

Anyway here is the trailer! Let me know what you think. (Click the photo)

It has a nice look :-) Those 35mm lenses provide the shallow focus typical of telephoto still shots. The acting is good. I think you have a future as a filmmaker. I wish you success and happy holidays.

Thanks! appreciate the input. Glad you like the adapter, even though its home-made. Anyone else think it looks good? ive been going through many models trying to find the best model, what do you guys think? and yes it is a vibrating adapter.

Thanks robbie, I use my DVX-100b with a vibrating 35mm adapter that I built from scratch.

I used minolta MD lenses on the adapter. Which were:
17mm f/3.5
28mm f/2.0
50mm f/1.4
85mm f/2.0
135mm f/2.8
200mm f/3.3

Nice job, good compositions and you did a great job with the adapter.

Good luck with the project, can't wait to see it. :)

Chris
