I just found this new epic film starting on Friday, I don't know what to think after watching the thriller...and Burt Reynold has a king ?

I saw the trailer. The bad guy looks like he's wearing a modern leather jacket. Jason Statham isn't good at giving inspirational speeches, and over all it looks aweful.

They're trying to make a lord of the rings style film but it seems like they'll fail horribly. It's horribly cast as well.

I could be wrong though... I might see it...

Yes, it look like the styliste didn't had any budget, more like a nice TV serie.
 
This is based on the Dungeon Siege video game series, no? That's what my roommate (a serious gamer) said. If that's the case, I am staying far, far away.
 
Man I thought that actually looked pretty good. Looks by far and away Uwe's best. Good actors too http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460780/ and Ms Loken's back so my mate will be pleased. I do like Statham but he looks a bit out of place here.

This looks like it's shot on digital or am I seeing things. Any more info?

Boll actually had a budget of 60 million dollar. I am pretty sure the money would have served a better purpose by burning it in my oven.

Did you see how they are fighting in the trailer? Like in an hongkong action movie. Ridiculous.

Ha ! Ha ! lol, if ever you want to burn 60 million in your oven, just give me a call before so you don't have to clean it after. ; )
 
I love medieval type movies but the trailer I have seen for this so far turns me off. Maybe just the way the cutter cut the trailer but if feels too hokey.

Way to be firm in your convictions, buddy...

Everytime I see the trailer, I wonder if they don't show much in terms of plot and story on purpose...and since I just found out Uwe (pronounced Ewww if you love cinema) Boll is directing, I know that is indeed the case. Plot just seems to get in the way when it comes to this guy...

How does this crapmaster keep getting more jobs and more money?

And most directors will tell you that is one of the hardest parts of the business...finding funds for projects.

I guess since he is German, I should call him a Sheissemeister (scheisstmeister?)...but he does seem to keep working and getting bigger budgets, no matter what we say about the quality of his work...

Yes, I was thinking the same. He should actually be the shining example for every indifilmmaker. In the past he used media funds to produce his movies and also holes in the german tax laws.

His newer productions are mostly financed by his distribution company Boll PLC.

You probably meant Scheißemeister :D Did you know he even is a doctor of literature? Anyway, he still makes crappy movies.

No...seems ironic. Maybe he can read well, but he seems to have an aversion to good writing when it comes to movies...

Anyway, he still makes crappy movies.

Amen...and they all seem to be based on video games or something like that....
 
This looks like it could be gloriously bad. Just seeing Ray Liotta looking like a reject from David Lynch's Dune made me laugh. Hopefully it's a fun to watch bad and not merely mediocre. Not that I plan on seeing it. I'll tune in when it's on the Sci-Fi channel after Man-Squito.
