I am brand new at this and have searched for an answer.

I am waitng for my dvx100b to arrive. in the mean time I was experimenting with a short which had a HDTV CTR tv for the main background. I got a split horizontally across the screen. the top half looked like it had a green filter over it. It was a perfect line across.

How do you shoot the tv without this effect?

gunna have to play with your shutter speeds.

in the US, set your shutter speed to 1/60 a second and you can film TV's. The DVX can do this.
