Hello Everybody!
I am Damien Kazan, a French aspiring Filmmaker,
I just came back from Cannes where I tried to promote my latest short "In Da Street", the film was sent at the Short-Film Corner of the Festival. In case, for those who don't know, there's nothing extraordinary about the Short-Film Corner of Cannes, as long as one pays the fees and has a decent looking film (not too amateurish) then it's accepted and is shown among other shorts in the Palais. The cool side, is that you also get to have accreditations for the festival. And it was just selected for the AOF Festival in CA and so will be screened at the Krikorian theater, which is gonna be the very first time one my stuff will be screened so I'm pretty excited about it.
It was shot in two days with $1500 on a 5D Mark III using Magic Lantern. Even though we had permits ect it was kind of a guerilla shooting, small crew in the streets, low budget ect
Anyway, I created this thread to share with you all, the DVX community, the teaser for that short-film. If you like it and are interesting in seeing the film, I will then post it here.
It's about the afternoon of Felix Doriane, a French cop abroad with his Hispanic partner Juan Hernandez. The Film is in English and has a bit of Spanish and French.
Anyway, here's the link to that teaser

Thanks a lot for your time and have all a very good day!
