Importing TIFF files to make a movie sequence

Hi,

I was following Disjecta's uprezzing procedure when I got hung up on one part:

How Exactly do you import all the TIFF files into FCP in order to make a "movie" clip?

When I import individual TIFFs or JPEGs into the Timeline, FCP automatically repeats them so that the "Single frame" is long enough that you can work with it, but that means that when I drag and drop all those individual frames into the timeline and "nest" them in order to make a movie sequence my original clip that was 20 seconds suddenly is now 2 hours long because the first frame repeats ungteen-million times before the second frame does the same etc. etc. etc. Obviously I only want to use one frame of each TIFF to make the sequence... Please help! Thanks...

Thanks - I did and it worked, although now I seem to have encountered another problem because the footage looks just as it should but occasionally wavers in and out of having a kind of "interlaced" static effect withing the image - most noticably on the edges of the humans that are in the shot. This is not there in the original footage. I'm not sure how to fix this...

I should note that I tried to solve the above problem using the De-Interlace filter and it did not fix the interlaced look that comes and goes throughout the 20 second shot. any ideas?
