IMPORTING PS16GB on field

Hi,

I am waiting my hvx 200 to arrive with two 16gb ps cards...and I also owe a brand new macbook pro 2,4ghz... since the MBP has only express card input and the P2 is a PCMCIA system... I was wondering what woudl be the easiest and best way to offload full p2 cards when shooting on the field....what is the most common, fastest and most reliable option when still shooting wirh hvx200 and having oe already full P2 card to offload..

You have two options:

1. Get a Duel Systems PCMCIA/PCCard to ExpressCard adapter and offload the cards as they fill up, allowing continuous shooting.
2. Connect the camera using a Firewire cable and offload while in MCR mode. This approach does NOT permit continuous shooting.

I would also get yourself a firewire external hard drive. You will fill up your mac book pro HD so fast. Set final cut pros disks to the external so the footage and render files all get dumped onto that, so if you have a desktop you plug it in and you can open the file and edit right where you left off.
