GH2 Importing Pana GH2 or GH3 to Avid Media Composer

Is anyone using Avid MC to upload media recorded on the Pana GH2 or GH3?

Can you capture it directly, with Avid joining all the fat32 parts, or you have to upload it with an external program and then import it to Avid MC?
 
I'm just importing directly into avid (rgb levels). I usually break any interviews I'm recording at about 9mins thus avoiding any spanning issues - using Flowmotion 2.02 with a GH2 and the fast 64gb card.
