importing multiple TIFF sequences

I have TIFF sequences, all separated into separate folders (so each sequence has its own folder). Is there a way to import all these sequences into Avid over night? Because Avid won't let me import a folder. Which apparently means that I have to open each folder first and then select the sequence, and that will take me forever. I was hoping I could tell Avid to look inside each folder to recognize the TIFF sequence without me babysitting the machine. Possible?

Hmm... I don't believe it'll work that way. I think each needs to be imported individually (as a sequence). But, you could try this: make a folder, and move just two of your complete TIFF sequences into it. So, you'd have ABC0001.tif --> ABC9999.tif and XYZ0001.tif --> XYZ9999.tif in the same folder. Jump back into Avid, and select the first image in each sequence, and see if it will parse properly. Like I said, I don't think it will, but it's worth a shot. If on a lark it does the trick, just move all your image sequences into one folder and repeat the above process.

Good luck!

you could batch render QTs in AE then import those in one swoop.
sounds like a good time to smoke em if ya got em.
