We are trying to import footage from a Beta SP (actually a clip from the "Today Show") to a 720 23.98p DVCPRO HD timeline on FCP.
We digitized the footage using a AJA board to 10 bit 422 and DVCPRO 50.
Both seemed to have speed errors.
The DVCPRO 50 on the "movie inspector" is 29.82 fps!!!
The 10 bit 422 is at 23.38 fps !!!!!
Both of them are dropped frames.
We used the usual procedures to import the footage.
Any suggestion where are we screwing this up?
