GH4 Important new GH4 firmware update released 7-1-14

I can't get the firmware update to work either. I've tried 6 different types of SD cards, a Windows desktop computer and my Macbook Pro.
 
It worked fine for me. Downloaded the EXE, extracted to a directory, put that GH4__V11.bin file in a freshly formatted card. Popped it in, pushed play, updated, worked like a charm.
 
Make sure you extract the .bin file before moving it to the SD card. Otherwise it will not recognize it.
 
once you copied the .bin file into the sd card, turn the camera off, insert the card, turn the camera on, press play (i've done this with three different sd cards and 3 gh4 without any issue)
 
This update was killing me, tried 5 different cards, copy paste, taking photos, re-formatting ect.

Finally checked my current firmware and I was already at V1.1, hence the reason why it wouldn't update. I just bought this GH4 from B&H a couple days ago, so I wanted to throw it out there that some cams might be shipping with the new firmware already.
