FS7: Import LUTs?

not sure if i am doing something wrong? i generate the LUT in resolve, put them on a SD card, insert the SD into the FS7, go to :File : Monitor 3D LUT : Load Card : choose my slot(s) (1,...) and at this point i am assuming i am looking at the file structure of the card? it just gives me nr 01-60 No File.....i formatted the card in the camera....anything i am missing?

There is a file structures that needs to be on the card and the luts have to be in a specific folder. I don't have it in front of me but will look later.

Yes, I had the same problem loading simple scene files on my FS7. It is the file structure. If you can save the stock LUTs to an SD card formatted in your camera, it will put the right structure on your card. Then you can just delete the final .cube files (at the end of the structure tree) when you access the card in your computer and replace them with the LUTS (.cube files) you created. Should work.

So you can save the LUTs from the camera to the SD card? How does that work?

So you manually created the "PMWF55_F5" folder alongside the FS7 folder? And didn't accidentally put the LUTs into the FS7 folder?

ok....i got it....bizarre but i got it...it seems like the folder structure has to be as described in the article:
PRIVATE:SONY:PRO:CAMERA:PMWF55_F5
if the last folder is replaced with FXW_FS7 it won't work....

Haha, thus the reason why he described it that way! But yeah, I (along with a few others) made this discovery back when the FS7 first started shipping. Hopefully Sony fixes this with the next firmware update (which should be this week!).

i don't think i made myself clear....the only way it worked for me is to make both folders (F5 and FS7) but had to make sure the LUTs were in the F5 folder....either way, i got it, looking forward to the new firmware....
am i the only one who lost the histogram/wavelength/vector if the LUT on the VF is enabled?
i am getting the histogram on my external HDMI monitor?
also looking forward to 4k:)
