Howdy Folks

I have been floating around here for a few months and love it!

Anyway a simple question! Can I import footage shot with the DVX100 at 24FPS with another deck or camera. I have already had a few tight schedules where I had to get the camera back. Thanks

Yes.

Use the forum search and you'll find what many others are using (decks and miniDV consumer cams).

Any deck will do. Just remember if you filmed in 24pa you need to import your footage using the
DV NTSC 48kHz Advanced (2:3:3:2) Pulldown Removal       Preset
and you need to edit the digitized footage using a 23.98 timeline.

If you are just importing typical F5 24p material then you would digitize your footage as you would with any other 29.97 NTSC camera. You would then edit on your typical 29.97 timeline.
