Hey,
I just purchased the Panasonic Anamorphic adapter for the dvx-100a and I'll admit I'm pretty new to shooting 16:9 widescreen, so bear with me if what i'm asking is rediculous. I have it figured out for the most part but I'm just wondering what I set the image resolution to when editing the footage. I've checked a number of different sites and I've found several different answers...so hasn't helped much. What I've tried which sort of looks like it works is setting the resolution to 940x480 (instead of 720x480 or whatever). When I do that it stretches the image out and it looks proper...but is that actually the right way to do it or should I leave the length the same and shorten the height of the image. Also what is the proper aspect ratio for anamorphic widescreen, some sites tell me it's 1.85:1 and some say 1.78:1
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
