Image Stabilizer

How is the image stabilization with the HVX? Is it a built-in, turn on/off mechanism? To anyone using the camera, what have you thought so far-- can you pull off some very smooth, non-jittery shots for a handheld camera?

If the camera's stabilizer works well, my guess would be the stabilization with the HVX handles incredibly well for handheld, 1/3" cameras.

In my experience it works noticeably better than the DVX's. Haven't compared it directly to the XLH1's, but it definitely seems more responsive and more stabilizing than the DVX -- and that's with 10mm more zoom to handle, too.
