Image Flip/Thumbnail Q

I'm sure this has been asked before, but here it is again. Anyone know if it is possible to reverse the way the image flips in the on board LCD? We know the image flips at a certain point when you rotate it towards the lens, so shouldn't you be able to reverse that or make a switch when using the M2?

Also, is there anyway to mark a take on the P2 card while you are still recording? This way if 20 of the 30 takes are garbage, you can delete them quickly before doing the transfer?

Thanks,
JP

Some people trick the camera into flipping the LCD by manually activating the switch that trips when you rotate the display, but it is a delicate part and can be damaged by sticking paper clips etc. into it. A better solution might be the Red Rock Micro or Brevis flip adapter -- the only downside is that I'm not sure that either one is shipping at this point.

The P2 clip marking you can do using the SHOT MARK function, which you can assign to a USER button. It marks/unmarks the current recording, whether you are in recording or MTR mode.

Very cool info...thanks much!! I will look into the flip adapter and definitely assign the shot mark function. Thanks again.
