image difference between LCD and EVF

I am a new HMC150 owner. I noticed that there is an obvious difference on the brightness and hue of the image between the LCD and viewfinder. The image on the LCD is much brighter, and the image in the viewfinder is warmer.

Is this normal? Which should I trust, LCD or EVF?

Is there any settings that I can make they look the same or closer?

Thanks,

I tend to use the LCD and check it with the wave form monitor in terms of exposure. As far as hue goes, I manually white balance (or use the 3200/5600 presets) and the color comes out fine. Eyes can deceive with either the LCD or the EVF, neither are truly good monitors.

Short answer is don't trust either of them, trust the waveform monitor and/or zebras. But yes, you can go in and adjust the brightness and color of each of them. Problem is, if you change the viewing angle even a little bit on the LCD, it will greatly affect the picture. That's why you should be using zebras and/or waveform instead.

So true. In also comparing the LCD on the 150 to the 200, the 150 is a much sharper LCD.. but it doesn't show a very true color level. The 200 LCD displayed a much more accurate color representtation. This was especially true when shooting greenscreen... that's where I noticed it. On the 150, the greenscreen looked very washed out and lifeless and on the 200, look like an accurate color representation...

I also tend to bring out the manhattan LCD. For the price it's really awesome.
