Image crispness in Color

Hey guys, just wondering why whenever I edit my footage in color it always looks so sharp and beautiful and then after I send it back to Final cut it doesn't look nearly as good. Does the same thing happen to you guys, or is there something I'm not doing right or can do better to make it look just as good?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Where are you watching the footage that you notice it not looking as good "in FCP?"

FCP's desktop canvas and viewer windows are terrible. They aren't there for accuracy... just for reference. In order to keep up with realtime playback, FCP lowers the playback rez for the viewer. The more processing you add to it, the more it has to "guesstimate" a lower-rez version for RT. If you are watching after rendering all the effects and filters, and are watching on a properly-calibrated external production monitor, and things still look bad, then you have something to worry about.

Thanks for the speedy response, we figured out the problem, the settings within fcp somehow were temporarily changed to the lowest quality setting. Thanks C2V!
