Image area size of DVX100 PAL letter box

Hello folks,

Can someone tell me what the size of the image area in a letter box image of a PAL DVX100?
I remember Barry Green saying that the image area in letter box mode is 720x372 for the NTSC version. What is the image are size of the PAL version?

I am not using DVX and don't have any information, but if the same underlaying reasoning is followed (system active line numbers filled up), it should be 720x440 (instead of 432 for a pure 16:9 ratio)
