Imac Screen/iPhone Update

Como's back. back again
Hello all,

I have two questions regarding Apple

1) On my iMac, I'm getting "image persistence" where I can see my icons and text through other applications. How can I fix this? The apple site is useless.

2) I'm trying to update my iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5 update, and it's a 600mb file. I get to around 30mb and an image pops up saying "Connection failed/timed out"

If anyone can help me out it'd be great, thanks!

Rob

I'd like to know the solution to the first one as well ... second one sounds like your connection isn't fast enough, is getting dropped, or you have some firewall or "blocker" preventing it from completing it's course. OR it could be on Apple's end if they have too many requests. But I doubt that's the case since it's not fresh on the market (today).

I have this problem on my 24" Apple display. Turns out it has been a pretty common occurrence with some of their monitors. When I took it into Apple, they told me it was "image persistence" they were aware of it, and that it was common. No fix for me though. I just ignore it.
