I'm separated by 2 degrees from Stan Winston. I scored the music for a short film by David Covarrubias, who was an animatronics guy for Winston on Jurassic Park 2. I guess that makes me 3 away from Speilberg.

Hi Zak. I remember when the trailer was first posted here for Blue in Green way back when; yes, the original non CC'ed version ; )

What's going on with the film? I've read a few reviews for it and it seems to have been received well.

When and where can we see it? Are there any screenings planned in the near future (hopefully here in the midwest) or are DVD's available.

Congrats on the film and I look forward to seeing it.
 
I'm 1 degree away from Jon Voight too. I was an extra for Varsity Blues. I didn't bother to mention the other names in the movie because they aren't worth it..hehe.
 
I was separated by only a thin fabric from Brittany Murphy when I was lucky enough to get a hug from her after an interview. Cindy Crawford held my FlexFill the other week. I lit a cigarette for Salma Hayek once. Kate Hudson got mad at me once.

yeah, despite overwelmingly good notices, no one picked it up for distribution. right now, we're negotiating with Netflix to take it on. i've moved on to other projects -- two HD features to be shot this fall. Blue in Green was a great lerarning experience. one lesson was that the Beverly Hills International Film Fest is total bullshit. our picture won the grand prize in the popular voting, but the guy who runs it, only takes that "into consideration" and ended up giving it to a more typically mainstream entry. that and the "techs" they hire to run the projection KNOW NOTHING ABOUT PROPER PROJECTION!
