Of course now that I'm no longer a student, this makes me officially unemployed. .. Though I prefer the term "self employed" :)

Bring on the engineer jokes.

Congratulations Mikko! Now you can start your own company and design the first combination steadi-cam/espresso machine.

Congrats Mikko! and I'll start it off:

Reaching the end of a job interview, the Human Resources Person asked the young Engineer fresh out of MIT, "And what starting salary were you looking for?"

The Engineer said, "In the neighborhood of $75,000 a year, depending on the benefit's package."

The HR Person said, "Well, what would you say to a package of 5-weeks vacation, 14 paid holidays, full medical and dental, company matching retirement fund to 50% of salary, and a company car leased every 2 years - say, a red Corvette?"

The Engineer sat up straight and said, "Wow!!! Are you kidding?"

And the HR Person said, "Of course, ...but you started it."

Congrats Mikko!

(Not sure about the math here but the idea sounded funny)

Theorem: Engineers and scientists will never make as much money as business executives.

Proof Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power.
Postulate 2: Time is Money. As every engineer knows, Power = Work/Time.
Since Knowledge = Power, and Time = Money, we get;
Knowledge = Work/Money
Solving for money, we find
Money = Work/Knowledge
The greater your knowledge, the more work you have to do for your money. Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero, Money approaches infinity regardless of the Work done.

Conclusion: The Less you Know, the More you Make.

Congrats Mikko. I like the steadicam-espresso machine, but could you make mine a steadicam-beer tap?

Well done.

Oh, good you're an engineer. Then you can tell me why my external DVExtreme isn't sync'd coming into my Ross Synergy3?

Congrats, Mikko! I smell a party...
