I'll definately be getting a wide angle adapter and the anamorphic lenses.


Which wide angle is the best?

If you were to ask what type of filming I would be doing: Narrative. I've been told that I will need a wide anlge adapter for indoor shooting. Basically is there one that gives a nice depth of field? Or is there actually a lens you can get that gives you a shallow depth of field?

Towards the end of Lock Stock and Two smoking Barrels there are some shots with incredibly shallow depth of field. Is there a lens for the DVX that can do this?

Oh and also I'll be getting an external mic too. Could anyone let me know what mic they got and what results it gave them? cheers. (not a boom mic, just one to stick on the camera)

I don't think you will really need the wide angle if you are getting the anamorphic. Does the same thing (except only in the horizontal axis). Also you can only use one or the other...
