I'm getting audio interference with the Zoom H4N when I use Phantom power.

So I just got my Zoom H4N along with a Rode NTG-2 microphone and I'm getting this high pitched squeaky ambient noise whenever I try to use the H4N's +48 phantom power.
Luckly, this microphone has a backup battery source and when I use it I don't hear it. But does anybody know why I'm getting this and more importantly, how I can get rid of it?
I also tested it on a senheiser microphone which only works off phantom power and I still hear it.
The sound is a very high pitched squeaky sound. I don't know if anybody will understand this explination but if you happen to have a iphone and you play music though your car auxilary while you are charging it with a cigarette port charger, theres usually a high pitched sound that comes out of the speakers which gets louder as the rps get higher. If you just happen to know what that sounds like, it sounds exactly like.
Any help would be great!!
Thanks!!
