GH4 Im from Europe but if I had put on first starting the cam that Im in North America..

Would I have gotten rid of the 30 min limit??
Im thinking of getting the GH5 but since the 30 min limit in Europe is driving me nuts Im thinking what if I put Im from North America when I first start the camera, that should get rid of it right??

I doubt it. As I understand it, that limit is "hard coded" in the models intended for the European market.

There are some tricks to change Panasonic PAL camera to NTSC and vice versa. It removes the 30min limit too. Maybe not working with GH5.

You cant remove 30min limit just selecting region at the first startup.
