Ikan V-8000HD monitor: BEST on-camera HD monitor for under $2k!!!

I have decided to purchase this Monitor, but I will say this...

I was looking for the best bang for the buck...

1) Price, at $750 this fits my budget and for what I am going to use it for I think it is a very good deal.

2) Focus and framing. I think this will do a very good job for my needs, being on camera, not too heavy and able to focus and frame the shots.

3) Color. I know the color accuracy is going to be off with this monitor. I will try my best to get it as close as possible, I still think it is more than worth the cost and just hope this thing will be able to get me close.

4) Quality, honestly this is my biggest concern. I hope the Ikan will last and I plan on babying it from day one.

I will let you know how it has worked out for me after I run some tests on it.

Rob, is there anywhere we can glean more info on your upcoming monitor? Couldn't see anything on the Nebtek site yet.

Hi Mark,

I'm finally back on the boards for any questions people may have for me. I sincerely aplogize for the delay, but all my time has been spent over seeing our new HD monitor.

If anyone is looking for information, the best place to find it is right here on the User's Group... http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=110926

Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions or concerns I can help you with.

All the Best!
