For sale, Igus DSLR Camera slider. See Link Bought it for $150 plus shipping. Upgrading to skate rail dolly system, so this is just taking up storage space.
I've used it only on 2 shoots, took care to keep dirt out of it , no scratches on the rail. Slider plate has marks from mounting the tripod head, but those were made the first time I used it, purely cosmetic. I kept it in a soft carry bag and made sure it was always free of dirt before use.
107 mm (4.2") wide x 1000 mm (3.28 ft long) and running on 10 mm bearings, it is ideal for DSLR cameras using small to medium-sized lenses, etc. I was running a 7D with 85mm prime lens, matte box and follow focus and weight felt great.
Moves the way you'd expect these dry sliders all do, you have to learn the technique for smooth movement.. not perfect but it works for the price. When I had it mounted on a single tripod in the center it seemed to have more resistance sliding at the mounting point but was still able to pull off nice shots that added to the production value. Good for beginners with low budget.
