UPDATE: $280 with free shipping for the 1 meter rail. $310 with free shipping for the 1.5 meter rail.

I have 3 IGUS rails to sell (2 x 1-meter, and 1 x 1.5-meter). They are all set up and ready to go. They have 3 sets of holes on the rail, drilled and tapped for 1/4inch threading and 3/8th inch threading. The holes are placed on each end, and in the middle, so you can use two tripods (one on each end), or just one in the middle. The carriage also has holes threaded for 1/4inch and 3/8thinch. On the ends of the rail there are rubber stoppers.

(tripod not included)

I happened to come upon IGUS's last few meters of rail until there back-order shipment comes in (in about 4 weeks) and figured I'd buy them all, set them up, and see if I can't pay off the two I kept for myself.

I am asking $300 for the 1 meter long rails, and $350 for the 1.5 meter rail. Shipping is included.

If you are interested shoot me an email at dave@savedeth.com .

I know I am a bit of a noob to this web board, but I have plenty of internet credibility (if that exists, haha) elsewhere, so just inquire and I'll see if I can't make you comfortable shelling out money over the internet.

nice set up and someone might totally pay it but i ended up taking $220 for mine i believe and i included the tripod... sent it to Hawaii... i regret getting rid of it so i will keep an eye on the thread and see if you get any lower.
thanks

I just sold the smaller version for $80. $300 is a bit steep for that IMHO. When you can get it for $170 shipped and drilling the holes takes 5 minutes. But that's just me. I hope you get it.

Hey guys! Let's say $280 plus Free shipping for the 1meter and $310 for the 1.5meter also Free shipping. Firm.

Someone's selling them on ebay for $260 plus $45 shipping. And according to his history, they are selling. So that's $305.

Yes you can buy the parts for one of these cheaper, if you are a DIYer I'd totally suggest that. But if you need one quick-like or don't mind spending a few extra bills for the easy way out I think $280 is very reasonable. Consider the time spent to drill 8 holes and tap 12 holes. Took me a few hours even with a drill press and plenty of experience tapping. Plus if you don't have the equipment that's another $20 or so, and of course the cost of hardware parts ;) not that that is very substantial.

So I can buy the brand-new item from ZazaSlider.com for ~$250 to my door, or I can buy the same thing here $280. Why would I pay $280?

Is there something I'm not getting from ZazaSlider, or am I just really bad at math? - Tim

I just looked on Zaza's site and all I saw were feet-only for $225 or feet-and-slider "complete" for $450. I didn't see a slider-only option.
