F35: If you own a F35 please speak up! :)

Yes definitely. Although it will have to be a good steadicam to hold its weight.

I have flown one on my rig before. I am about to test with my f35. It is pushing the weight linit, so, i am only likely to do calm shots.

Updated with latest owner names. 13 so far. Not bad at all since camera is rare and not many made.

I saw that information some where at some point but I believe it was in the range of 215 cameras, not sure about upgraded F23's though.

Yes I remember reading this. 210 or 215 I think in the big thread. Yes thats it. For the price of a house each camera not surprised.

Been a while for me here sorry, hope you all are well!

F35 with Nikon mount, Hyperdeck, also just got the Aja dual link 1.5g to 3g multiplexer going to a Pix-E7 for 50fps the other day, surprised all the wiring worked haha

Is that it? 215? Interesting.

Yep that is one of the unique things about the F35 there were so few made, this number could include the converted F23 as well. The camera is a decade old, which is ancient in digital tech, and it can still produce images at a quality that few other cameras can replicate to this day. It is literally the pinnacle of the I don't care how much it cost we are going to make the best camera we can attitude, over $200K after all.

Hello; took Vlodek's F35 off his hands back in February, troubleshooting and kitting it out.
I intend to fly this thing on my janky not-steadicam. Mostly for fun.

I got one!

I got one!

IMG_6448.jpgHello to all!

i've got one down here in the Caribbean, Dominican Republic. I bought from Igor Bertolucci who was on here a lot. Got it for a Feature I directed, even though ended up using another camera, I still have it and use it for personal projects, and I'll probably shoot my next feature on it because I love it so much!

I use it with the CODEX which is fully working, has internal ramping which is really nice, or when I need to go lightweight I use Odyssey 7q.

here are some stills from a short film that never came out....

Cool. So this is where Igor's camera end up. I thought maybe dhessel had it because I think dhessel has a codex. I think we have the same cameras getting around in the group probably. Cool. F35 is becoming like a classic car where you can keep track of cameras and owner history. Don't happen with F3, C300, FS7 etc they are dime a dozen and who cares or keep track. I added you to the list.

I put mine together over time on my own. I did have the codex as well. I got mine from System Associates who is the broker for Otto Nemenz, it was the last one they had with a wet dock. Codex's are not super rare but very few wet docks were made as they were custom made by Clairmont cameras if I am not mistaken. When I had it I looked all over and called every rental place in the US and Canada that rented a F35 at some point and was never able to track down another one.

There was a list of owners here before. But can't find thread and I think most old timers have gone. I think I bought mine in 2014 or 2015. There seem many new onwers. Be interesting to see how many are using F35 here today. If you have F35 speak up.

I'm adding all names to first post for easy reference.

Mine was Theo's who got it from Hunterqual... so go figure. Still going strong though.
