I can also see David Hasselhoff in some studio office somewhere going, "Come on the time is right. Let's do a Knight Rider movie. I can star in it. I am the most popular actor on the planet, or at least a couple years ago. I don't know if you know that."
Oooh, I could so hijack this thread going over the enequities of LOTR but I shant. That being said I enjoy the movies but I could nitpick every ridiculous and useless change of plot points but that would just reveal to all how much of D&D Fantasy Fanboy I am. Ooops... I just did.
I really like some sequels! Especially ones by James Cameron. Although I thought piranha 2 was a little fishy...hahahaaahahahahahahha.
Now before I go and hang myself, I didn't care much for The Shining Mini series(!!), T3, errrr... Episode 1, although strictly a prequel, Jurassic Park 2 (or 3), a few of the Bonds, the Matrix 2&3!!, Blues Bros 2000... and on and on...
I think a sequel can be just as creative as an original film and can be more involving due to the continued character and plot development. Most of the time they are crap though. Just my 2p Sterling.
