V VinceinLA Carbonite Member May 12, 2015 #1 Haven't seen the IF at the top. Why, and can it be moved to the back?
JMtheDP Veteran May 12, 2015 #2 You can have it in either position. Main reason for putting it on the top would be to make the camera shorter, I guess. The only limitation is you can only power the camera via the IF box when it is mounted on the rear of the camera. I used to have my IF box on the top and my cinedeck mounted on the back, to keep it a bit more "compact".

V VinceinLA Carbonite Member May 13, 2015 #3 Does the handle mount back onto the top? I dont understand how the box mounts exactly and how the Vmount mounts on these things.

JMtheDP Veteran May 13, 2015 #4 The IF box and the dock plate/cover have the same screw arrangement and size. The handle or V-mount will screw onto both of them.
