Is there a plate mount for IDX batteries for the GY-HD? I Just got off the phone with a rep, who said that there is not one . . . yet. I thought someone briefly mentioned about using IDX with their GY-HD-- I knew IDX did come out with plates for other JVC's ...

I have bought one (a A-E2HD100) 2 weeks ago, and it's lying here beside me....

I also have the IDX battery kit. I would definitely recommend it. Also, there's no problem getting hold of them in the UK.

Very Nice....

Very Nice....

The IDX kit is very nice... fits well - 2 small screws hold the mount secure that fit into the top/back of the camera, helps balance camera, also enables you to power an IDX camera light or similar with a "D" fitting, has bracket fittings for adding another unit i.e Firestore. Very nice charging system....

Jep, the A/B is quite a lot cheaper (1/3 of the price over here in europe), but the IDX looks cooler, I think :-) ....

Hey everyone,

Just ordered the Anton Bauer Dionic 90, Titan Charger, and Backet mount, and should be recieving next week. There is a similar IDX package available. From my dealer, the IDX (which has less power, based on the battery included in the package) was about $55 USD less expensive than the Anton Bauer. I know that there are other Dionic batteries that are less, mezalf27, and also the Hytron series. So I guess it just depends on the battery from A-B. Wish I was in europe, though . .

I do think the IDX looks pretty cool as well :)
