GH5 IBIS / Dual IS on a gimbal?

Any negative effects to using either IBIS, or Dual IS, while on a gimbal?

Seems it should just make it smoother... but I know that sometimes these things play together oddly.

IBIS may be OK, but lens stabilization will probably cause problems. Once you start a panning move for instance the lens correction is going to reach a mechanical stop and most likely try to come back to center. A few quick tests will tell you everything you need to know. For the most part, especially the high end gimbals are really good at stabilizing the camera, so even IBIS is not needed, but YMMV.
