Hello all,
Just got the DVX100a Last week and have been looking at all the post about NAB. I use to DP up until about 1998 when I sold all my gear and went back to a 7-5 job that has nothing to do with this media being "Film,Cameras, Cranes, Dollys ect..I use to attend all the NAB conventions up until around 1993. Its like a kid in a candy store. Sounds like everyone had a great time.
Man do I miss it all. BUT...I did get the DVX100a last weekend and Vegas+DVD and am feeling much better. Like I mentioned to David on another post, Its change a heck of lot from my old Ikegami Beta days. Hell, Iam still reading the manual and still trying to figure out What the darn User buttons are for.
Storing settings?? or Auto wash.. Iam going to take it out for a test run tomorrow and shoot some 8 yr olds playing County Baseball. Might do some editing with it and burn it to DVD and Wallop..20 bucks a pop. I have really enjoyed reading all the post here and feel like this is a family here, sharing stories, tips and excellent knowledge of there craft. Any DVX tips you have, send um my way. Take care..
