i7 720qm with 8GB RAM or 820qm with 4GB RAM ?

Hi, I'm in the process of getting myself a new laptop and can't decide on one thing : what will do better for AVCHD editing and rendering - i7 720qm with 8GB of memory or i7 820qm with 4GB ? Each processor or memory upgrade is around $300.
I know, the best choice would be 820 w/8gb :happy: , but it is over my limit.
If I'm correct , processor handles rendering, while editing is more a memory job.:undecided

Please help me decide !

I'd do the 820. You can always upgrade the RAM at a later date relatively cheaply. Can't say the same for upgrading the processor in a laptop.
