Hello DVX User members,

I have been a member of DVX User for mabey3 or 4 months, perhaps less. However, I've been filming rollerblading for about 4 to five months, I mean, i did some stuff over the years, but it was not as serious. One thing, I noticed while filming , editing, compressing ect is that you don’t always get what you’re looking for or the results aren’t as planned , but through the help of DVX user, and numerous attempts to get decent quality, I think I finally created something that actually looks good. I would really appreciate it if you took the time to watch my edit on Vimeo.com, and constructively criticize my creation.

I really like your colours. What are your scene file settings? One suggestion: Use a tripod or at best, a stabilization device like a Merlin, Glidecam or Steaditracker. Hope this helps.

one thing i noticed, your transitions seem to be abrupt add some cross dissolves... other than that liking your footage!

ps
clean your lens before you shoot! hehe

To Skratchiechan,
It took me almost like an hour to clean my lens lol. But i will take into consideration your suggestion. I dont know why my cross dissolve look abrubt i suppose there is not enough footage from one clip to another?

Colours? In my literature course it was said that such usage of the word is usually associated with a British background, very interesting to me atleast. i tried to use the word once in microsolf word and it was incorrect lol. enough of that i will post my scene setting up when i get close to my dvx, but note that i do alot of color enhacement through brightness and contrast color balance ect.

thanks for the cricism by the way. ive been doing some shots with tripods lately its been look pretty good.
