I would appreciate some feedback...

I recently edited a piece for work, and would like some feedback from actual AE / video people. I don't want to embed the YT video, because I don't want it tagged with "As seen on DVXUser.com" below the video.

The video is called "A 2012 MASupershow Social Experience" and it can be found here: youtube.com/maiasuccess

I was given about 30 different status updates to make a video out of, so I rebuilt facebook layer by layer in after effects.

I liked!

A little too long and repetitive in some parts, but very clean and smooth camera movements, is a kind of Apple Ipad tv spot ;)

Continue with your good work.

Great piece - really clean graphics, very well done, great music to go along with it. I'd second Xeno's comment about being too long. I watched the entire thing but I think that the message is received within the first minute. what was your process for creating this? screen grabs of Facebook that you edited down or did you actually recreate the same layout in AE?

keep up the good work

I could definitely give a nod to it being too long. I was given 30 status updates that needed to be included.

The entire piece was created in After Effects. I thought about trying to do edited screen grabs, but I realized I wanted more control over everything, and I wanted to see if I could do it. I spent a solid afternoon with my profile set to private, and timing things to see how long it too for an update to go live (4 frames on a 29.97 base, by the way), comments to post (5 frames), etc.

Thanks for checking it out. I appreciate it.
