I will be homeless soon

I was born a poor black child...Alright I got nothing. I've certainly been broke for extended periods of time as a young man, and had profound emotional lows, but always had a support system to fall back on. Hope things turn around for you.

Damn LA? Wow I'd jump at the chance to be there. People think London is all that here in England but its not. And thats our main city where all the movie premiers are.

Yes luckily for me in the last 24 hours I have had a friend offer me a place to stay at his house until I get back on my feet. Hes married with 3 kids lol, and altho I appreciate the offer I hate to impose, but it might seem like the best option at the moment. and I REALLY do hate imposing on people. I'm one of those guys thats always been dependant and paid my way and done everything myself, but I wont turn down a kind offer like that if i really need it. He told me anyway his wife is really happy cuz now they have a babysitter if they need one haha.
You didn't happen to be playing Rugby in NZ, did you? The team I play for in Los Angeles is always looking for good foreign players, especially from the major Rugby capitals of the World (New Zealand / Australia / South Africa / England). I know they've even gotten work visas for people in the past.

ye, im broke as fvk too - dont come to NYC unless you wanna beg for change and apples on the 1 train. hope all turns out for the better and pawn that dvx for some food and brews. the hunger will produce something good if you play your cards right - and dont regret cheating the game.

Hey man no, I dont play rugby and I dont even like it. I'm from England and was really good at soccer but I lost interest in that when i turned 15. I'm more into boxing and weight lifing these days.

I posted this thread on a couple friends FB walls for some reason a couple days ago. I don't know why. It just jumped out at me for some reason. One thousand views and counting. Gees.

Definitely keep your head up. It will turn around simply because of your spirit and determination. Years ago I walked away from an excellent paying full-time job to be a full-time filmmaker. I stepped out on nothing but faith. I went from having a wife, a nice house, a car and a motorcycle, plus all my own film equipment to basically being divorced, forclosed on and homeless. I believed in what I was doing and still do. Right now I'm working on completing the best film I've shot to date and just shot a music video for an artist that was signed with GOOD Music (the same label as Kanye West and John Legend). Stay strong and determined and there's nothing you won't be able to do. All the best.

Thanks man. At least you are following your dreams. Alot of people don't have the confidence to take risks or gamble it all. But I beleive thats where it WILL pay off one day. Like Del Boy says from the British comedy series Only Fools and Horses (my favorite) 'he who dares wins".

You should look at playing rugby league. You will never get cold in winter playing RL! lol

Oh man tell me about, $$$$$$$ is what I never seem to have, for very long anyway. Sorry to hear about you GF. What would you of been doing at the video game company? Actually creating games? That sounds like a cool job. LOl. you remind me of me too much. I'm always running out of gas and panicking about filling up. I live rurally and takes about 20 mins to get to the city, eats my gas big time.

Edit-I would never mess with a guy that worked in a gun shop...you know.....just incase lol.

The GF thing turned out to be a positive, in the end - I later married someone much more suitable (had I married old GF we would almost certainly have been messily divorced, by now). The video game project involved developing content for a new consumer 3D games system, that never went anywhere either (past the working prototype stage).
