I want to change my vote - I can't!

I started watching and rating films but didn't get to all of them before the 1st round closed. So now, after watching all of them, I have a better idea of how I want to rate the films. But some of them I can't change anymore! What's the reasoning behind this rule?

I may be reading this wrong, but round one is done, and you/no one can vote/change because it's locked.

All you can vote on now is round 2. Round one is toast, and it's done with. :)

I may have read your post wrong though..

once the first round of voting ends, any vote you put in is locked in. can't change it. round two only accepts new votes. i believe the reason is to prevent an issue in the second round where voters are ranking the finalists with exaggerated low and high scores, rather than rating them on their own merits.

But why? For example, I gave one of the top ten entries a low low low score initially. But the more I watch it the more I like it. I want to change my rating, but I can't!
