I want to buy a hvx200

Hello all after all my pain i went throgh with my dvx100b I have decided to purchase a hvx200. What I wanted to know is there a authorized dealer that is outside the new york area. The reason I want to know is because I don't want to pay 600 plus in taxes. please let me know. well only because you are sorry about the color change :) - there's a sticky at the top of the hvx forum listing authorized dealers. quite a few outside NY.

Alot of people talk highly of that tripod for the price, but I would seriously evaluate sticking a $5000 camera on a $200 tripod. You wont get smooth pans or tilts with the DS. I'd do some searching here and look at spending closer to $1000 or so.
 
I got my hvx from spec-comm. Great service. 16gb cards have been hard to get but seems like supply is getting better. My tripod was from bh at around 700. A libec ls38m2a. Very fluid motion. I wouldn't trust a 200 tripod with my hvx.
