I Want My NBA!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing the NBA starting later. If that means less games, so be it. Personally, I'm booked up with Quarter Horse events, high school and college football in November into December with some college basketball thrown in too.

I'm expecting to have my phone ring off the hook and receiving tons of e-mails as the NBA schedule is released later today. :)

Good news for the Heat- they sign Battier, Bosh adds 15 lbs of muscle and Mike Miller is (hopefully) staying.

But strange news in other parts of the NBA universe.

The (NBA owned) Hornets had their deal to trade Chris Paul to LA and send Odom to New Orleans and Gasol to Houston blocked... by the NBA.
So the NBA is blocking deals arranged by the NBA owned team... strange....

Anybody ready for some games?

It's gonna be tough juglling family and sport, but I've got my miday blocked out.

See ya tomorrow, Mavs fans!!! And Happy Holidays- yes, even Mavs, Knicks and Lakers!

Noon crew call tomorrow for Orlando Magic @ OKC Thunder. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN and two regional feeds (home and visitor) from FOX Sports - plus... the in-house IMAG crew. That means cameras, cameras, cameras!

So the Heat got a bit sloppy at the end after the 35 point lead, but I think the team as a whole, and LeBron especially, learned a lot in last year's Finals.

James had 37 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
Wade had 26 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
Haslem is back, healthy and playing heavy D.
And the Heat's new fast break offense is a joy to watch!

Should be a good season (whether or not you agree with Magic Johnson saying the Heat will go all the way.

I know it's Christmas, but it's pretty quiet around here... where are all the fans?
