I wanna use my dvx for a reality TV show

Hi guys. I want to produce a reality tv show using a dvx100. (of course the hidden cameras won't be) Does anyone know how I go about planning out a reality tv show or know where I can find books on it? Also would you suggest I get a couple more dvx so I can record more in more areas??
 
Yeah you will need 3 camera 3 boom mics. If you want to make this real. And reality show is all in the editing room. Just get thousand of hours of footage to make the show. And reality you don't really need a book its reality.
 
Ya know, I like how you put that. I can do with the footage what I want and it all boils down to editing. WOW, I never thought of it like that. Any good books you know of that focus on reality shows, wpgproductions?
 
Honestly, I think the best way to learn about them is to watch them. It'll become clear after awhile how they work.
