I think you'll like this...

Not a bad piece of work for 36 hours. On question though, what was the deal with the shot at 1:20. The girl looks really evil lit from underneath like that.

simply a matter of a poorly placed reflector :D Small crew, no one had experience with that except me, and I was running camera. Plus our monitor was being a pain ;) Yep.

Or... I could say it's because she's going back to her "old ways" :)

Haha, I love that joke.

A little overexposed on alot of the shots, but you said you had a monitor problem, so no worries there

I love it too! When my wife read it to me, I told her we had to adapt it for the screen! I found out later about a similar beeper commercial, and I guess another guy did a short version on the "On the Lot" show... but with a guy, not a girl.

We wanted to make a cute version of the joke for the screen, something that wasn't crude, but took advantage of a socially awkward situation we can all relate to :)

And actually only one of the shots is slightly overexposed (according to my levels on the camera and in Avid) Everything else should be good to go :)

Ah, I see. You could have used the, "old ways" response. It sounds perfectly plausible to me. When I first saw it, I thought that perhaps there was possibly some meaning going over my head.

Glad you enjoyed it :) we're over 3000 views on YouTube, which is awesome, considering it's only been two weeks!
