I still believe in the HVX! Here's trailer for my first feature.

Awesome trailer! I'd love to see the film... and yea the HVX can still do wonders. Check out my trailer if you get a chance... it's kind of funny that we posted them at pretty much the same time haha... how many HVX features can there be?

Anyways, what's your plan for distribution like?

Wheres can I get a link to your trailer?

I think what happens is that it just takes a long time to make something legitimate that you don't start seeing product of the camera until three years after it comes out. Like I bet in 2 or three years will actually start to see stuff from the new cannons or the Red camera.

You made that without ANY MONEY? That's incredible...I don't believe you, that looked expensive.

Hey thanks for telling me what BTS meant. OK--here's an answer to some of the questions. So I got turned down from all the film schools in the country--NYU, FSU, USC, UCLA, SUNY to name a few--but I still wanted to be a filmmaker. So while I was a junior at Pitt main in Pittsburgh I decided to start prepping the shooting. I used a HVX-200. My one friend whose a DP, Matt Meehan---really great eye, visual, all that--agreed to help and offer some of his talents on the weekend.

No one in the movie is a professional actor or is training to do so-- everyone was either communications, engineering, or medical.

And so while I was going to school I'd work on the script and do my prepping for the weekend's shoot coming up. The trickiest part was shooting the car chase on the interstate.

Great trailer. Also the look of the footage is superb. I still think the HVX looks great. I miss mine. I'm currently shooting with a 5D which does some great stuff, but there are things the HVX does better.

Very nice. Are you self distributing this film? If so are you using a website to distribute? What has been your experience now that it has been completed?
