there is a limit to everything, don't expect greatness.
the combination of camera with the lens added to the adapter and the lens. if you get a cleaner image without zooming in and the adapter, it's to be expected.

if the camera did not take clean images before the adapter, it wont change.

old nikon or nikkor lens are not that sharp, if you change the lens you might get some improvement but don't expect night and day changes.

thanks fro the fast reply
are you saying thats how it supose to look , and nothing its wrong with my setup , and those little static i get with the m2 its ok ?

you might need to change the camera settings a bit and apply a touch up of color correction, and you might end up downsizing a bit to get a better image.

so you might loose more brightness for contrast than you already have and might be more difficult to find better locations to shoot and might need a bit more light than usual.

but it's to be expected.

I dunno about with the M2, but could it be a collimation problem? Especially if you used a wider lens for those shots?

what is collimation problem ?
thats what im using on this shot , nikon nikkor 35-70mm 2,8 d , fstop on the camera 5,6 , cine v or cine d , ND filter 1/8
any input or tips its ueseful
thanks

using primes instead of zooms

edit: still, that will add sharpness and contrast but won't remove any artifacts

Post your setup and will help narrow down the problem more.

Edit*

Do you have a UV filter on your lenses? The footage looks foggy. That will help.

the setup as i said above , cinev is the stock scene file that comes with camera .. no uv filter i dont have any

i posted a reply and forgot something, so i modified the post. i don't know the forum policies, but i already double posted on this thread once today and didn't want to do it again. has nothing to do with your question.

if you zoomin inthe pic u can see a layer of noise , is there anyway i could adjust the colors or push the black higher or else to get beter picture , i seing people using same setup no filter and they get way better quality , thanks amrrahmy for the help, by the way amr where u from ?

Mainly your picture just looks like the blacks are washed out though. The HVX should never by run with blacks at default 0 agamma tends t be washed out anyway.d the regular cine

Lower your black level to -5 or so for a start and raise your detail to at least +3 or even all the way to +7 at leats with cine. Try using HDF norm at Black -6 and the set-up should be 0 not 7.5. Try cine matrix as well. The M2 is a muddy beast at best though and it has all sorts of set-up issues.

I have no suggestions for cine v, but the above should help.
