I see ghosts - 720 50p

Here are two frames from the same take.
Shutter is 1/50 on a PAL GH1.
Can anyone explain ?

What are your project settings?

Do you have disable resample on or off for that clip? See if it the other makes a difference

Is the clip "interpreted" as progressive or interlaced? and do you have "blend" deinterlace turned on or off in the project settings?

Looks like you playback the 50p in 25 fps with frame blending on.

Thanks PDR. When I turn on disable resample, the ghosts are gone , so this is not a GH1 issue. Do you know if it can be changed for all new projects ?

not sure if you can ... sorry. I can't find the setting in the preferences to change the default behaviour

you might have to manually do this , or select all clips then disable resample
