Amazing! That is almost half of what we pay in Germany, even much lower than US prizes...while everything else seems to be the same prize as here. It looks like a legitimate dealer.
Jerry, do you have experience with that place?

It is said right now we can't order some.

Maybe in Germany, they'll be a rebate like this too...

No, I talked to the biggest dealer in Germany, they don't know anything about a rebate. I also called that videoplus shop and was only connected to two answering machines, one of them couldn't even take messages anymore. I would really like to know how they can sell so cheap... and why they can't take phonecalls during businesshours. Anyway, I don't mind buying in France, so I'll keep trying to get in contact with them. The card is now 'en stock'.
 
I don't really get the P2's ... why not just invest in the FS100 firestore? Its 100GB and fits nicely ontop the camera.
 
I use the FS-100 almost daily. It's a fine, solid, proven product. Not sure what "a little behind on your reading" means. There are lots of us who are very happy with the FS-100.

let me spell it out . . . "I don't really get the P2's"

My comment was designed as kind of a nice way of suggesting much has been written on P2's (for people who don't get it or otherwise). This way we don't offend by "DO A SEARCH BUDDY!" or launch into another "my dog is bigger than your dog" multi-page re-run of the merits of one persons workflow over another, share the love!

There is a soon to be released version 3.0 of the firmware for the FS-100. I think it'll run something like $39 for the update. You'll download it, follow the instructions, and it'll update your unit, as it's only a firmware upgrade, not a hardware upgrade, that adds functions. It's all there on Focus Enhancements web site.
