No, that does not mean you talk to much.... it probably means that I am going to end up being seen on the evening news, hand cuffed and hiding my face, and being described by neighbors as, "The quite type, that kept to himself"!!!!

But actually, I had a good period where I wasn't involved in any thing film, or interwebby, as I was the primary care taker for my mom who had end stage renal disease and Alzheimer's. Unfortunately, she has passed, and I am now trying to get back into the game, so to speak. While I was doing a good bit of guerilla fictional narrative, I ended up these last few years doing a lot of event stuff. While that is cool, I have decided to move back to Detroit, where I lived for a long time, and learned filmmaking. It is very cool, because I have already scored a gig to DP a low budget drama this October. With that gig, and a few others that look like are going to happen, I don't think that the next 2000 posts will take as long.

sorry to hear about your mother. it couldn't have been easy, i'm sure. but, i'm glad to hear that you're back in the game. i'm sure you'll teach us all a thing or two. i actually lived in michigan for around a year back in 2000/2001 in a little town north of lansing called owosso. it was an experience, for sure. couldn't stand the cold though.

congrats on your DP gig! and i hope all goes well with the other prospects.

cheers!

It slices, it dices.... Yeah Doc I got one... well actually I got a regulation, authentic Ginsu knife.... that I have had for about 24 years. I kept it from when I used to sell Kirby vacuum cleaners door to door. Way back in the day!!! We also used steak knives as a "Premium". Didn't keep any of those though.... The Ginsu, on the other hand is the still the best knife I have. Of course, I haven't cut any tin cans with it.

Well now your the "steak knife member". Dont look at me, I had nothing to do with it.
