because I'm always behind the camera. I try to look for pictures it came back to change my avatar on other forums and this one and I don't have any recent pictures.

Cuz I'm always taking pictures of something else!

And that would be true with any videos I took of my son when he was younger I was never in any of them! Gah!

We need a camera that's like an appendage and has the lens on us and on our subject so we can be in the frame too, I'm just saying.
 
I never take picture of myself because I'm fat, old and ugly. But after that glowing introduction, I'd be happy to take your picture. :bath:

Some of us have the appendage... it's just very difficult to attach a camera to it! :2vrolijk_08:

That was good, I think I got that.

But you know most guys who talk about their 500mm lens, low light sensitivity and tack sharp penetrating DOF shoot with an instamatic...:engel017:

I don't post any of me (unless it's from >10 yrs ago) because I end up having too many beers and looking like this->
Crooked hat, drunk, messed up hair, big ass glasses and the most stupid look on my face that I could muster up. But hey, if I can't laugh at myself. That shoot was a blast though. Total time in the biz? 2 weeks, lol.

Hey Charlie! My favorite shots are "arm's length photos"... if I want a pic of myself with anybody else... people always see me doing this and say "hey I'll take that pic for you!"... I say NO... this is how I do it!

My own avatar is a pic I took of myself with the Macgregor set for UYUNI in the background.

Seriously... < right up there... arm's length.

Hey Doc. haha, when I was 15-16 (early-mid 70's) I used to make home made grenades.
I made my own powder. I found it worked best when cured for 3 months for some reason.
I had batteries and a push button to push before I threw it.
Man, those suckers would make an instant campfire when it hit.

Problem was I had one go off in my hand but it blew away from me and lit a wall on fire.(Canister with lid style.)
I counted my blessings and said, wow, I'm done with that shi*. That could have been my face.
Also the cops were picking up on what was going on and the local drug stores stopped selling the required ingrediants, haha. But they never nailed me. No damage anyways. More out of curiosity I guess was why I was doing it. Another fav in those days was sodium peroxide. Nuff said, hahahaha.

I HATE being in front of a camera. I have very few pics of myself. The one I use for avatars, etc. is one my son took last year.
 
Wow.........haven't heard that name in a while. From Coarsegold, a place I knew well, hence my remembering him.....
