I just finished my feature film and i'm already getting ready to send my film to both SUNDANCE and SLAMDANCE. what i'm asking is, is there other film festivals that are as big or popular as those two because i'm planning to send my film to a least 5 festivals. If there are popular festivals like SUNDANCE can you name them for me? thanks...

Tribecca seems to be getting bigger. Other biggies are Toronto, Berlin, Cannes. There's a book out that highlights the festivals. But, I'm not sure how recently it's been updated. Chris Gores - The Ultimate Film Festival Guide (I think). I recommend searching the web. There's a site called withoutabox.com that covers tons of that stuff. Good Luck!

Be aware that some festivals like to get exclusives, so you may not be able to show to all. Also, depends on your film. Each festival has it's character, and your film may be a better fit at some more so than others. And depends on your goals. Some festivals are good if you're looking for distro deals, others are better for networking, others for getting in touch with potential financiers for your next venture, others yet are great for publicity etc. You must approach this like a military campaign. Define your goals and expectations, and then develop your strategy. Good luck!
