I need some help

I just finished shooting a short film using two cameras. One used P2 cards at 720p 24pn and the other used the firestore shooting 720p 24p.

We are having problems importing them together in avid. What is the best way to get them to be in the same timeline with each other?!

Please help.

Unless the clips were shot in with the 3.0 Firestore firmware upgrade and at the native setting, you will have to remove the pulldown in the FS-100 clips. They will then be at 23.98 and you can edit them in a 23.98 timeline.

You are trying to put 2 different format in one timeline.... You can't. 24P and 24PN is not the same thing. One is a true 24 fps, the other is a 24fps with a pulldown at 30fps. So either remove the pulldown of the 24p or add a pulldown to the 24pn. Also which avid are you using? Not all Avids are equiped for 24fps.

We are editing on Avid Symphony Nitris. I am not sure how to remove the over 30 pulldown from the firestore 24p. Can anyone offer a quick process? Thanks for the responses so far.
